Ashwood Sis
Sierra is a big stout mare with the Skipper W hip and chest. She is out of a palomino, with tons on palomino on the top and bottom. She has produced a palomino filly first time bred. She is the jack of all trades around here. We used her for western pleasure, lessons, roping, trail rides, cutting, and barrels until a knee injury in the fall of 2003. She and our then ten year old daughter won their first race together and now have a wall full of ribbons in their year showing as a team. She will be missed as a riding horse but continues to produce outstanding foals. She is a My Skip Ashwood granddaughter, as well as Two Eyed Jack, and The Ole Man in her bloodlines. She was bred to Peponita Bar Buck and produced a gorgeous chestnut filly April 7, 2004, a bay filly by him 2005, and a flashy sorrel colt by Lil Red Storm in 2007.
